Two men in a white Toyota Etios (registration unknown) are being sought after they attempted to kidnap a female jogger in Coniston – KZN this morning (Sunday).
A member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was flagged down and informed of the incident by two females on Todd Street. They explained that while jogging in Coniston – KZN the suspects vehicle stopped next to them. The passenger alighted from the car and attempted to force one of them into the boot while his accomplice remained in the driver’s seat. The women fought him off and fled when the vehicle sped off. The victims flagged down a passing motorist who dropped them off in Verulam – KZN. The traumatised females were not injured.
Joggers are urged to exercise in groups and remain vigilant at all times.
