Passerby discovers murdered man in Mhlasini

A passerby contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after he discovered a man lying in a pool of blood on Hazelmere Road in Mhlasini – KZN.

Reaction Officers & RUSA Medics arrived on the scene and discovered the victim in a prone position on the side of the road.

He sustained multiple stab wounds to his chest.

His left arm appeared to have been hacked with a cane knife. The victim showed no signs of life and was declared deceased.

The motive for the murder and identity of the deceased was not established.
