Pedestrians discovered a murder victim in Canelands

The body of an unidentified male with stab wounds to his body was discovered on Old Main Road in Canelands – KZN.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance after a group of individuals walking to their place of employment made the discovery.

On arrival, RUSA Members found the body of a man estimated to be in his late twenties on a grass verge next to the road.
He sustained a stab wound to his buttock and body.

He showed no signs of life and was declared deceased by the Medics.

The motive for the murder was not immediately established.
