Valuable information led to an arrest, drugs recovered

The valuable information shared by the community members led to an arrest of a female suspect for possession of drugs at Chungwa policing precinct.

Police followed up on the information about a house that sells drugs. A search warrant was executed and two hundred and thirty-five (235) mandrax tablets, seventeen (17) halves of mandrax tablets, and an undisclosed amount of money were recovered. A woman was immediately arrested and charged with dealing drugs.

The suspect is appearing at Middledrift Magistrate Court tomorrow, 07 November 2022.
