The body of an unidentified male with multiple stab wounds was discovered on Umdloti Beach Road in the vicinity of the Waterloo Phase 6 – KZN entrance earlier today (Monday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from a ward councillor who made the discovery at approximately 00:06. Reaction Officers & RUSA Medics were dispatched to the scene and on arrival discovered the man laying on a grass patch on the side of the road. Upon examination, he was found to have been stabbed twice in the head and once on his body.
The motive for the murder was not immediately established.
