Drive-By Shooting: Inanda – KZN

A 24-year-old year man was shot in his foot during a drive-by shooting on Spring Road in Inanda – KZN this afternoon (Tuesday).

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance at approximately 17:51. Reaction Officers & RUSA Medics were dispatched to the scene and on arrival were informed that the victim was transported privately to the hospital.

It was established that the man was standing outside a tuck shop when the occupants of a white VW Polo with a GP registration opened fire on him. The vehicle then sped off in an unknown direction. Five spent 9mm cartridges were recovered at the scene.

The motive for the shooting was not immediately established.
