The driver of a Ford Bantam bakkie fled the scene of a collision at the Ottawa – KZN intersection earlier this morning (Wednesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the incident at approximately 00:39. On arrival, Reaction Officers met with the driver of a white Opel Corsa bakkie. He stated that the driver of Ford Bantam fled on foot prior to the arrival of First Responders.
He allegedly failed to stop at a red robot however this could not be immediately confirmed.
