One person was injured following a collision at the R102 Palmview – KZN intersection this afternoon (Saturday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received multiple calls from the public at approximately 17:32 reporting the incident. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered a blue Suzuki Dzire and a red VW Polo involved in the crash.
The driver of the VW Polo informed Reaction Officers that he was travelling in the direction of Umhlanga – KZN when the Suzuki Dzire, which was travelling in the opposite direction suddenly made a u-turn at the intersection and collided into him. The driver of the Suzuki was transported from the scene prior to the arrival of First Responders. It could not be confirmed if he was injured.
A passenger from his vehicle suffered spinal injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
