Southern African Rock Python Captured: Emona – KZN

A Southern African Rock Python measuring approximately 3 meters was captured on a farm in Emona – KZN this morning (Sunday).

A farmer contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 08:52 after he spotted the female juvenile snake near his geese enclosure. The Python had consumed several geese eggs.

Andrew Douglas from Ndlondo Reptile Park was contacted and on arrival, captured the feisty reptile which will be relocated to a more suitable location.
