A wood & iron home was gutted in a fire in Parkgate – KZN a short while ago (Friday).
Residents contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 10:21 after they noticed smoke on the property. All available Reaction Officers were dispatched and on arrival discovered an informal home attached to the main building engulfed in flames. The main building and a second wood & iron home were at risk of catching alight. Officers utilised buckets of water to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
