A female was robbed of her valuables by a man armed with a cane knife shortly after exiting her property on Evepalm Close in Palmview – KZN today (Wednesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 10:53. On arrival, the victim explained that two men confronted her as she exited her yard. One of the suspects produced a cane knife and robbed her of her handbag and backpack containing a Samsung Galaxy cellphone, cash and approximately 40 healing crystals.
The robbers then fled through a river and into Riet River. Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects, however no arrests were made.
The victim was not injured.
