Home invasion in Canelands

Four suspects are being sought for a home invasion that occurred in Canelands – KZN earlier this morning (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to an informal area following the incident.

On arrival, Reaction Officers were met by a couple who stated that they were asleep when they heard someone interfering with their door.

They applied their body weight against the door but the four suspects overpowered them and forced their way into the house. The couple was robbed at gunpoint for three cell phones, identity documents, and cash before they fled in an unknown direction.

The victims were not injured.
