A resident of Osindisweni – KZN apprehended a suspect responsible for breaking into his home.
The homeowner approached a member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) on Todd Street in the Verulam CBD at approximately 18:09 this afternoon (Tuesday) requesting assistance after he apprehended the suspect. The complainant informed Reaction Officers that his home was broken into last Thursday (29/12/2022). He received information regarding the identity of the thief when he tracked and apprehended him this afternoon. During an interview, the burglar confirmed that he stole a TV and cellphones from the victim’s home.
The 29-year-old was detained at the Verulam SAPS.
