#OperationRestore, a crime-fighting initiative to bolster policing and tackle the root cause of crime in the Western Cape Province, shifted the focus to the Cape Town CBD this morning.

At the crack of dawn, an integrated deployment of law enforcers comprising SAPS, Metro Police, Traffic Services, Law Enforcement, Home Affairs, and external role players took to the streets in numbers to saturate the City to curb lawlessness and bring to book perpetrators of crime.

This morning’s operation was succeeded with similar operations in the areas of Delft, Mfuleni, and Harare since the start of the year, and Operation Restore will continue to move from area to area to ensure the safety of the respective communities we serve.
