Patrolling EMPD officers found an abandoned Tucson SUV on Monday, 6 February 2023, in Mayfield Extension 6.
The vehicle was reported as hijacked in Putfontein earlier this month and was taken to the police yard in Benoni.
No arrests have been made but investigations are ongoing.
