A man was fatally stabbed for an unknown reason in Redcliffe – KZN.
Residents contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after they heard the victim calling out for assistance. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival found the man lying in a pool of blood inside his informal home.
According to neighbors, the victim was alive when they reached him but his condition rapidly deteriorated and he became unresponsive. He sustained a stab wound to his chest. A blood trail was discovered from the yard leading into his home. The deceased was dressed in his underwear.
The motive for the murder has not been confirmed.
