Police in Ekurhuleni District arrested a 33-year-old woman in Ivory Park on Thursday, 16 February 2023, and recovered drugs and cash following an intelligence-driven operation.
According to a preliminary report members of Ekurhuleni District Crime Intelligence and SAPS Ivory Park operationalised information on drug dealings taking place in Ivory Park, extension two.
Upon their arrival at the identified address, the members conducted a search which led to the recovery of drugs such as crystal meth and double star (also known as ‘goof’).
Police also recovered cash which is believed to be proceeds of drug deals.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Tembisa Magistrates’ court soon.
