Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha directed that the province must convene structures and faith-based organisations within the religious space to organise a Provincial Day of Prayer.
The Provincial Day of Prayer is a multi-stakeholder event by the provincial government and its social partners who are from different walks of religions and faiths, to seek divine intervention to reduce the number of fatal road accidents, gender-based violence and femicide, substance abuse and other forms of social ills in the province.
