On Saturday night, 15 April 2023, the Deputy Provincial Commissioner: Crime Detection, Maj Gen Mbuso Khumalo and Tshwane District Commissioner, Maj Gen Azwinndini Nengovhela lead the multi-disciplinary forces of O Kae Molao at a roadblock in Tshwane District: Bronkhorstspruit / Ekangala.
The aim of the roadblock was to search for illegal firearms, stolen vehicles and to ensure compliance of the Road Traffic Act.
The team proceeded to conduct compliance inspections at liquor outlets of which some outlets were closed down and owners were fined for contravening the Liquor Act.
