Well done to our Dundee team on stopping a copper pipe thief in his tracks! On Saturday morning at 10:10am, we received a call from a resident reporting that his neighbour’s copper pipes were stolen during the early hours of the morning at Upper Peacevale.
Our Community Control Room operation created a phone in for more visibility and at approximately, 1:05pm, our reaction officer managed to apprehend the suspect who had the bag of copper pipes in his possession. Dundee Police station were notified and the suspect was taken to the police station. Well done to all key role players involved in this.
