Fence hopper caught in White River thanks to Fidelity Services Group.
Yesterday afternoon, they received a distress call on our Community WhatsApp group regarding a male that jumped over a wall on Impala Street and was armed with a panga. Fidelity Services Group team immediately responded.
Fidelity Services Group approached Diamond Street, they noticed a male walking next to the road that matched the suspect’s description of the group.
A Fidelity Services Group officer stopped his vehicle to investigate, and the suspect immediately began running towards the river at Impala Street.
A chase ensued, and the suspect was apprehended approximately 400m along the river at Victory Tabernacle Church. The community also arrived and confirmed the suspect was jumping over the walls.
White River SAPS arrived, and the suspect was detained and taken to the police station. W
