Four armed robbery suspects arrested by SAPS Villieria

On Wednesday, 17 May 2023 members of SAPS Villieria arrested four suspects, aged between 23 and 34, who are linked to a spate of armed robberies in the area.

According to a preliminary report community members apprehended two suspects then alerted the police.

Further investigation led the police to arrest two more suspects; three imitation firearms (‘toy guns’) and cellphones were subsequently recovered. Also, investigation revealed that the suspects are linked to more cases that include domestic violence and theft.
