Yesterday, at 7:42am, we received a WhatsApp message from a community member regarding a house that was burgled during the night whereby the suspects stole a Big Boy scooter, plasma tv and soundbar. Our team immediately responded and upon arrival, began searching the area. Our team member found the tracks of the motorbike.
He followed it for approximately 500m where it was pushed on a gravel road towards the R40 main road. The tracks stopped at an open field. Our officer then searched the grassy areas where the motorbike was found next to the R40 where the suspects had left it covered with grass.
The TV and soundbar are still missing. White River SAPS were notified. We loaded the motorbike and returned it to the owner. Well done team and thank you for going the extra mile for every member of the community!
