On Wednesday, 10 May 2023 at about 00:20 the body of an unidentified African female was found near Protem.
Police were patrolling the area when they noticed a woman sitting on the ground, leaning against a shack. She was unresponsive and she was declared dead on the scene by emergency services.
The deceased is about plus or minus 30 years of age. She was wearing green pants, a pink jersey, black boots and a grey sleeveless pullover with a hood covering her face. She had no identity document in her possession and nobody in
the area knew her identity.
