A man was arrested following a murder and attempted murder in Area 2, Mhlasini – KZN.
Residents contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after they discovered the lifeless body a man lying outside a tavern. A second individual was stabbed in the back.
On arrival, Reaction Officers established that the two men arrived at a work colleague’s residence. They knocked on the door which was answered by her boyfriend. They requested to speak to the female and an argument broke out.
The female’s boyfriend at some stage during the argument produced a knife and stabbed both men. The two injured males fled from the property but collapsed outside a tavern approximately 300 meters away.
The suspect was handed over to the Verulam SAPS.
