Take note that there will be a march tomorrow, Friday 16 June 2023 by Kathrada Youth.
Purpose: They are marching against youth unemployment.
The marchers will gather from 09:30 at Loftus Triangle, corner Eastwood Street and Park Street, Hatfield Pretoria.
The route of the march is as follows:
From the gathering point, marchers will proceed on Farenden Street, turn left onto Stanza Bopape Street, proceed on Stanza Bopape Street until they reach The Union Buildings at Madiba Street.
The following streets will be affected:
*Park Street
*Farenden Street
*Arcadia Street
*Francis Baard Street
*Pretorius Street
*Stanza Bopape Street
*Becket Street
They are expected to disperse from The Union Buildings at 15:00.
Tshwane Metro Police officers will be deployed to monitor march and all affected streets. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes such:
*Hamilton Street
*Steve Biko Street
*Justice Mohammed Street
*Hill Street
*Eastwood Street
