Durban Metro Police Service Dog Unit yesterday were tracking a vehicle which led to the discovery of a ” vehicle chop shop ” In the umlazi area
Vehicle recovered: Blue Toyota Yaris hatch.
Stolen in Durban Central yesterday afternoon. Recovered in L section Umlazi.
Upon searching the premises the following was also found :
1. 25 vehicle Log books,
2. Firearm competency,
3. 5 different number plates.
4. Car break-in implements were also found in the vehicle.
5. 5 other vehicles stripped to its shell and interior panels.
6. Electrical and mechanical components for the vehicles found at the scene as well.
All were booked in Umlazi South African Police Service station.
