The SAPS Management in Limpopo, through “Operation Kukula” this weekend, supported Capricorn District in an effort to curb increasing crime patterns in the District. The Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe also joined by the District Commissioner Major General Lesiba Mashilo, led the operation in Mankweng on Saturday 22 July 2023 until the early hours of this morning 23 July 2023.
Roadblocks, stop and searches, raiding of liquor outlets, tracing of wanted suspects and other Police actions were conducted jointly with other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders.
“Operation Kukula” has yielded good results across the Province and we are confident that we will be able to stabilise crime in the District as well said,” Lieutenant General Hadebe.
