Two suspects aged 36 and 42 will be appearing in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ court soon following their arrest in Tshepisong and Zondi respectively on cash in transit related crimes.
It is reported that the suspects were part of a group of suspects whom are said to have participated in G4S depot robbery on the 18 July 2023 in Krugersdorp. The West Rand based Serious Organised Crime Investigation worked tirelessly until late evening when they pounced on the suspects.
The Provincial Head of DPCI in Gauteng, Major General Ebrahim Kadwa lauded the sterling work by the team. “Employees need to adhere to the policies as pres ribed by their respective companies, those who are found to be feeding information to outsiders will be dealt with according to the law, Maj Gen Kadwa reiterated”.
The investigation is continuing.
