Vehicle chase leads to arrest and vehicle recovery near Berea

Chase leads to the recovery of stolen vehicle and suspect arrested thanks to our KZN Fidelity SIU team. On Sunday evening, a grey Toyota Fortuner was stolen from a sports event in Berea. On Wednesday evening, the vehicle was activated, and our SIU Team immediately proceeded to the given location.

Not long after, the team noticed a White Toyota Fortuner passing through heading South on the N2. The suspect spotted our team and tried to escape. A short pursuit ensued, and the suspect had no choice but to stop, as the team had him and there was no escaping.

He was apprehended and detained until SAPS arrival. Fantastic work by our SIU members! Keeping you safe, securing your assets.
