Three arrested for selling fraudulent proof of residence certificates at Kwamnyandu Mall in Umlazi

Durban Metro Police Service officers arrested three individuals for being suspected to be involved in fraud by selling proof of residence certificates at Kwamnyandu Mall-Umlazi.

The accused were found in possesion of eighteen blank proof of residence, one Trodat commissioner of oaths stamp, sixteen identity cards, thirteen ID books, one passport, one Capitec bank card and three drivers license.

They were all processed at Umlazi South African Police Service station.
