Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Florence Radzilani has today, Wednesday, 09 August 2023 delivered a keynote address at the Women’s Day Celebration held at Steiloop, Rebone Stadium, Waterberg District.
MEC Radzilani was deployed by the Honourable Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha as an Acting Premier for the Women’s Day Celebration that was held under the Theme: “ACCELERATING SOCIO – ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT”.
MEC Radzilani during her address urged all people “In celebrating and honouring women of our country, to make a commitment to join hands in fighting against the oppression of women.
We must make a commitment to fight against gender-based violence. We must join hands to fight against the emotional abuse of women. We must fight against the physical abuse of women.
Together we must commit ourselves to fight against the ballooning rape culture in our society. We must raise our voices against the killing of women and children in our communities.
