Fidelity ADT JHB South team responded to a hijacking and kidnapping incident in Kiblerpark on Saturday.
The family was called to pay a ransom to release the victim.
The Fidelity teams jumped in and assisted SAPS and CPF Mondeor in tracing the suspect via electronics.
The victim was rescued from Katlehong, traumatised but thankfully unharmed.
