Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Bronberg Precinct Officers, demolished illegal structures and apprehended a male suspect for malicious damage to property and intimidation.
EMPD Officers, conducted the Municipal By-Laws compliance, at Elm Road in the Crystal Park area. Few illegally erected and abandoned structures found, were demolished, and building material, impounded. Unroadworthy and illegally parked motor-vehicles found on that road, were issued with relevant written notices.
Meanwhile a male suspect aged 39 years old was arrested at Pitje Street for malicious damage to property and intimidation without any resistance. The victim alleges that the suspect came to his house and broke a broomstick and damaged a hot plate stove, as the suspect alleges that the victim knows who killed the suspects brother in August 2022. The victim alleges that it is not the first time the suspect accuses him of knowing his brother’s killer but now he was very violent, and the suspect told the victim that he is going to kill him also it might not be now, but it will happen eventually, the victim ran from the house with his girlfriend for their life’s.
The apprehended suspect was detained at the Daveyton police station and will soon appear, before the appropriate Magistrate’s Court and Officers, will stop at nothing to bring the perpetrators to book.
