On Wednesday, 25 October 2023, KwaZulu-Natal SAPS Economic Infrastructure Task Team members operationalized intelligence which resulted in the arrest of a 62-year-old male suspect from Newlands who was found in possession of an elephant tusk.
The suspect was arrested and detained at SAPS Greenwood.
