Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) are currently (Wednesday, 08:06) standing off at the scene of a home invasion on Nightingale Circle in Dawncrest – KZN.
According to the 68-year-old victim, four armed suspects de-railed the driveway gate and entered the yard. They accosted the domestic employee before approaching him.
The robbers assaulted the elderly male before ransacking the home. They discovered a rifle in the safe but discarded it after they realised that it was a pellet gun.
The suspects loaded two TVs, a microwave and other valuables into a silver Toyota Corolla with an NUR registration and sped off from the property.
Reaction Officers are searching for the suspects.
