A 30 year old man was stabbed during a robbery in the Verulam CBD – KZN.
The victim’s employer contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) requesting medical assistance for the man. On arrival, it was established that the victim was walking on Wick Street when three suspects attacked him.
The victim attempted to retaliate but was stabbed in the arm by one of the robbers who fled with his cellphone. The injured male proceeded to his place of employment and advised his colleagues of the incident.
They then contacted RUSA Operations Center for assistance.
The victim was treated for his injury but declined further medical intervention.
