Teenager treated for heatstroke at the Meyerton Municipal Swimming Pool

Saturday afternoon at 14:30, our Vaal Crew was activated for a medical emergency at the Meyerton Municipal Swimming Pool.

On arrival, our crew was met by the lifeguards who were treating a 13-year-old with signs of heatstroke.

The patient was assessed on scene and found to be in stable condition and did not need to be transported to the hospital.
