Two Attorneys returning from the Verulam Magistrates Court to the Legal Aid offices were attacked and robbed on Groom Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN this afternoon (Wednesday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance. On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed that both Attorneys were returning to their office when two suspects armed with knives confronted them and robbed them of their cellphones.
One of the victims fell and sustained an injury to her back. She was transported to hospital by ambulance.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the robbers but they still remain at large.
