Four reported stolen motorcycles recovered and a suspect arrested in the Boksburg area

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Community Liaison Unit (CLU) Members, apprehended a male suspect and reported stolen motorcycles (bikes), were uncovered.

After sharing an intel with other Law Enforcers, about stolen motorcycles, the EMPD Officers moved into Angelo informal settlement, situated on Wit Deep Road and a shack was raided.

A 23-year-old undocumented occupant from Mozambique, found busy stripping motorcycles, was handcuffed after Officers tested and confirmed that, the four bikes he was working on, were reported stolen.

The lawbreaker, facing charges of ‘possession of stolen motorcycles’ was marched to the Boksburg central police station, and he is expected to appear at the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.

The four reported stolen bikes and their loose body parts, were all taken to the Aero ton police yard, for safekeeping and thorough investigations, are underway.
