Housebreaking suspect arrested after vehicle chase by security officers

Break-in? Not on our watch! Fidelity ADT Bryanston Officer Ndatjana received a call for an alarm activation at a customer’s home.

Upon arrival, he found a vehicle parked outside the gate. 2 suspects were spotted, and 1 suspect had jumped into the vehicle; Officer Ndatjana proceeded to fire shots at the suspect when he lost control of the vehicle and bumped the vehicle. The officer called for backup when he saw another suspect trying to flee but spotted the officer and went back in.

The suspects managed to jump over the wall; all vehicles were on the lookout. Community Operations Manager Pheko spotted 2 suspects at a construction site and managed to apprehend 1 suspect. The Fidelity ADT team and the community are still looking for the other suspects.
