Intensive manhunt launch for house robbery suspects in Madiba Park

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has ordered an intensive manhunt on suspects who committed a house robbery that occurred at Madiba Park on Wednesday, 22 November 2023 at about 19:30.

According to information, the victim was sitting outside while her children were in the house, when suddenly four armed unknown men emerged. Two of them were allegedly armed with firearms, one holding a knife, and the fourth one with an axe.

They approached, threatened her, forced entry into her house, and demanded money. They searched the house and robbed her of belongings, such as a plasma TV, laptop, two cellphones, and bank cards, all items worth R20,000.

They locked the victim and her children inside the main bedroom and thereafter fled the scene on foot. No one was injured.

The police were notified about the incident and a house robbery case was registered.

The police are requesting anyone who has information on the incident to report it to Investigating Officer Warrant Officer Mohlabi at 082 344 7716 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111, the nearest police station, or MySAPSapp.
