Major Okedutse Itumeleng was found by the community members lying next to the road at Kroondal near Rustenburg. He was admitted to John Shimankane Tabane Hospital after being assaulted and left next to the road.
Itumeleng’s bank cards and cellphone were also taken by the two unknown suspects who gave him a lift while he was hitchhiking from Vryburg to Johannesburg.
