Public assistance is required to locate 42-year-old Garikai Madawo.
Madawo is a Zimbabwean national employed at a courier company in Durban – KZN. He is a resident of Milkway Drive in Marriantidge – KZN. On Tuesday (31/09/2023), Madawo proceeded on delivery in Pinetown – KZN but cannot be located. The tracking unit on his company bakkie was activated after his employer was unable to make contact with him on his cellphone.
The white Chevrolet Utility bakkie was later recovered abandoned on the MR 461 in KwaNdengezi – KZN. Madawo’s personal belongings including his wallet and ATM cards were recovered in the vehicle. Some of the goods in transit which included GHD hair straighteners were missing. A missing persons report (238/11/2023) was filed at SAPS KwaNdengezi.
