A 42-year-old Moulana was discovered deceased in a Mosque on Old Main Road in Ottawa – KZN a this afternoon (Friday).
Worshippers grew concerned after they arrived at the Mosque to perform their Friday prayer and were unable to made contact with the Moulana who resides on the premises. They utilised a ladder and climbed to the first floor and discovered the door to his apartment locked.
They forced open the door and discovered the body of the Priest in a prone position on the floor. He sustained an injury to his head which resulted in excessive bleeding. According to several individuals, the Moulana was last seen after their prayer at 22:00 last night (Thursday). He is a resident of Delhi in India but spend several months a year at the Mosque in Ottawa – KZN.
The deceased is believed to have suffered a major heart attack.
