Operation Restore ensures that illegal drugs are removed from the streets of Mowbray

Members attached to Operation Restore deployed in Mowbray area for high density and crime prevention duties arrested two adult males aged 47 and 42 on Tuesday, 07 November 2023.

The members received information of drugs being sold in Main Road, Mowbray. They operationalised the information received and attended to the identified address. Upon arrival they searched the area and discovered 12 sachets containing cocaine and arrested a 47-year-old male on a charge of possession of drugs.

The search continued and four sachets containing tik were discovered and a 42-year-old male suspect was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs.

The two suspects will make their court appearance at the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court once charged.
