Stolen goods recovered and suspect apprehended in Palmview

A man in his forties was apprehended after he stole two prayer poles from a property on Trenance Park Drive in Palmview – KZN.

A member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was on patrol in the area when he was flagged down by a passerby. The complainant requested assistance to apprehend a suspect and recover the stolen goods.

The Reaction Officer searched the area and spotted a suspect carrying the stolen goods. He abandoned the metal poles and fled through a pathway. The Officer pursued on foot and apprehended him.

The man was released after the homeowner declined to register a criminal case.
