A white VW Polo that was taken in a home invasion was recovered by Reaction Officers in Hammonds Farm – KZN during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from a resident of Crocodile Road in Waterloo – KZN after three men forcefully gained entry (picture 2) into his room and robbed him of his cellphone before fleeing in his vehicle. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and arrived at the property at approximately 02:56.
While attending the scene, Officers received information that a white VW Polo was seen entering Hammonds Farm. Officers acted on the information and converged on the area where the vehicle was recovered abandoned.
The victim was not injured.
