Melmoth police detectives seek public assistance in tracing a double murder suspect, Sibonelo Xulu (30), from Sidakeni area. It is alleged that on 19 November 2023, Xulu entered the house and allegedly shot two women, aged 20 and 33. A 33-year-old woman was declared dead at the scene and the other victim later died in hospital.
The suspect fled the area when he became aware that police were looking for him. His current whereabouts are unknown and a warrant of arrest was issued by the Melmoth Magistrate’s Court.
