Reaction Officers were called to Marula Circle in Trenance Park – KZN this morning (Wednesday) after a resident discovered an injured monkey near their property.
On arrival, members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) discovered that the hind legs of the juvenile female Vervet monkey were injured. She is believed to have been run over by a vehicle.
Officers are currently attempting to facilitate veterinary care for the monkey.
